Located in the heart of Tampa Bay and founded in 1956, the University of South Florida is still a young university, but does not lack athletic history. USF boasts nearly 500 student-athletes in 19 men’s and women’s varsity teams in 11 different sports. Since 1965, the Bulls have claimed 120 conference titles. 

Best known is their football team, having made 10 bowl game appearances and a program-record six straight from 2005-2010. Among the most notable USF alumni in the NFL are Marlon Mack and Jason Pierre-Paul.
