Texas Tech University competes in the Big 12 and fields 17 varsity teams in 11 different sports. Over the years, they have won 70 conference championships and 4 national championships. The most recent national championship coming from the Men’s Track and Field team in 2019!
While the Track and Field program claims the most recent victory, it’s the Football and Baseball programs that have seen the most success. You may be familiar with the name Patrick Mahomes, a recent Texas Tech grad and Super Bowl Champion.
